2004-06-30 - Snow ball fight!!! by myself. Today I went on a great ride, a 3 hour out and back, where the out part takes 2 hours and 15 minutes and the back takes under 45. At the start of the ride in Bend, OR the weather was great 80 ish with a decent breeze, lots of cyclists heading hear and there and very few cars out on the high way, after climbing for 2 hours I had to pull over for an emergency action... There was snow on the ground and I had not even seen snow in over a year, it was sooo peacful and quite up there (5 - 10 miles past mt. Bachalor) I almost had to do a snow angel, but with a long fast decent a head of me I chose not to. To all my friends back in AZ, there is no life like the snow bird life, forget that 100+ crap, I'll take our perfect easy winters and summers on the road any day!!!
