ASU Cycling The Arizona State University Cycling Club split away from Arizona State Cycling in order to focus solely on collegiate cycling, it is now run by students for students. The club needed a flexible site that could be easily maintained by normal students in the future who may or may not know anything about web development. The site runs on my content management system with a couple of new features. One new feature of this site is the addition of live local weather info, using wrapper extraction on national weather data for the Phoenix, AZ area is collected and cached hourly and displayed on each page. Weather data includes condition, temp, wind and humidity to let those of you who live else where see just how nice it is to go to school at ASU and be able to train outside all school year in almost perfect conditions. This project represents a new comfort level for me in doing both the backend and frontend work on a site. I of course would rather code then draw, but I'm am finally at a reasonable efficiency level with my artsy skills
